In 2017, HELVETING Engineering AG was acquired by the ALTEN Group to become the undisputed leader in engineering services in Switzerland along with its sister company ALTEN Switzerland AG.
ALTEN and HELVETING share a common vision of being the drivers of accelerated growth, in the Engineering activities thanks to its cross-engineering value-proposition, technical direction and delivery model.
Today ALTEN and HELVETING have around 450 employees and a presence throughout the country with 7 offices. The aquisition has made it possible to deliver superior expertise in key technology domains to the market: A complete coverage of the business sectors on digital transformation programs and the performance of IS & networks, R&D outsourcing and manufacturing. Together the two companies have strenghened its leadership positions at key industries – Aerospace & Defense, Automotive, Railway, Special Machines, Luxury, Life sciences, Banking & Insurance and Public Sector – and will support you both locally or through our centers of excellence located wherever the Group is present, in more than 28 countries.
In order to optimize the synergies between the various activities of ALTEN in Switzerland, and thanks to our cultural proximity and a similar operating model, the decision has been taken to simplify its legal structures. As a result, we would like to inform you that HELVETING Engineering AG will be unified into ALTEN Switzerland AG on January 1st, 2020. Additional administrative details will follow before the effective date of the merge.
