Join ALTEN Switzerland as Senior Java Back-end Developer to support an important client in the banking and digital domain.

Key Responsibilities

Develop Java backend applications (JPA, Hibernate) in a SAFe Agile environment, with a focus on CRM and database migration (PL/SQL);
Collaborate in cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, ensure software quality, and drive continuous improvement;
Contribute to architectural alignment and technical best practices within the development community.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent;
At least 5 years of experience in backend development in enterprise contexts;
Java 11+ (up to JDK 21), with excellent command of Stream, Lambda, Try-with-resources;
Strong Experience with ORM (Hibernate, JPA);
Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), including stored procedures;
PL/SQL fundamentals;
Fluency in English and Italian (spoken and written).

This role values nice-to-have expertise in Camunda BPM, cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), enterprise CRM, end-to-end testing (Selenium/Tosca) and DevOps tooling (Docker, APM tools like AppDynamics/Dynatrace)

Availability to work on-site in Ticino, Switzerland is required.
